What a journey it’s been! From humble beginnings back in 2012 when Freddy was running a hobby business from the back of his van, to now where we’ve established ourselves as Melbourne’s top rated bicycle tour and rental company. And after 8 years as Freddy’s Bike Tours, we thought it was time for a change (we also had lots of time on our hands, thanks 2020) It’s goodbye to our cliche kangaroo and hello to another native – the striking blue tongue lizard – launching a new era as Blue Tongue Bikes!
But to all of our friends out there, don’t worry, it’s still the same friendly team, only we’ve added a new face – meet Larry, our loveable larrikin lizard! Larry’s the new public face of the operation and embodies our jovial, light-hearted spirit.
To go with the launch, we’re offering new rental products. Our minimum rental period is now 2 hours, with City Cruiser rental starting from only $25. We’ve also added overnight rental – perfect for those looking to head down to St. Kilda on a balmy summer evening. Overnight rental is the same price as All Day rental, starting at $35. Earliest pick-up for overnight rental is 4pm, returning before 10am.
